Vintage High Chair in Natural Wood and Warm White

I love giving old pieces new life. This vintage wooden high chair was my latest makeover project. I am loving the end look, how about you? This solid wood cutie was found by my furniture scouting sister. I messaged the seller sight unseen I would take it. My Mom picked it up and delivered to my door. THANKS family for all your help!

Fusion Azure Jewel Box

Years ago a good friend gave me this sweet little box that originally had tea in it, I have used it for my bracelets as it is black velvet lined and divided, perfect. But it is not the perfect color. Finally I took some time for myself and pulled out one of my favorite Fusion Mineral Paint colors, azure.

I like simple classic styles but wanted to add just a little something to it, like a small raised design. Fusion Mineral Paint has some beautiful stencils and easy to use embossing paste.

I went with just a portion of this stencil to apply on the front side.

Just lay the stencil over spot you want and using pallet knife apply a thin layer of the embossing paste, lift and let dry.. at least 12 hours!! Yep I touched before and instantly remembered patience is the key ;)

I then gave it 2 coats of azure (working on another project behind with azure and 2 more of my favorite Fusion Mineral Paint blues) and let dry.

and to make the stencil pop just a bit I hand painted with an artist brush some Fusion Mineral Paint metallic in silver.

absolutely perfect!!
