painting stools

Ok .. now opinions on what color to paint our simple stools we will use for many things including stools, drink holders, step ladder etc.
here is a shot of one, we have 3
I was thinking of doing the bottom a similar whitish color and the top dark

but also wondered about a hint of color making them turquoise., or glossy black here are some sample ideas
