Refinished Solid Oak Queen Headboard – Classic Black with Rattan & Elegant Details

This stunning queen-size headboard is a true statement piece, crafted from solid oak and beautifully refinished in a rich, classic black. A good customer brought me a table they purchased already painted grey but not in their color choice. They wanted it white to match the handcrafted desk they had me recently relove.

A few fresh coats of Country Chic Paint in crisp white called simplicity gave it the bright color they envisioned it to be.

The edges and flat surfaces were sanded to distress and reveal the underneath grey then black wax was added to the crevices for additional dimension and detailing. Seeing the top would get some surface use I put a coat of Country Chic Paint clear wax on it and the shelf surface.
