Modernized Pine Dresser in Gray

If you're a fan of clear coat pine, this makeover might not be your cup of tea. But for those who love breathing new life into old furniture, I hope this tutorial sparks some inspiration! The original clear pine finish has aged over the years, and the tall dresser has endured its fair share of wear and tear. With a little care, attention, and a fresh new color, it now serves a new purpose with renewed charm.

Spray paint it with Krylon

Some pieces just need spray paint, like this metal hanging fruit basket and laminate shelf. Both were dated and just boring.

Time to call in the Krylon spray paint for a makeover..

I choose sea glass for the wire basket

and Bahama sea for the shelf

Spray paint your pieces in a well ventilated spot, I usually go outside. Use long sweeping motions and do more light coats to get the color you want and avoid drips and runs.

let dry and wahlaa.. a fun new fruit basket and cute little shelf for nail polish, essential oil or other storage all reloved with some Krylon spray paint
