Modernized Pine Dresser in Gray

If you're a fan of clear coat pine, this makeover might not be your cup of tea. But for those who love breathing new life into old furniture, I hope this tutorial sparks some inspiration! The original clear pine finish has aged over the years, and the tall dresser has endured its fair share of wear and tear. With a little care, attention, and a fresh new color, it now serves a new purpose with renewed charm.

Hydrating and Resealing a Wooden Cutting Board

Do you have a wooden cutting board that could use a makeover?

Start by scrubbing it well and letting it dry. Then power sand it on both sides to remove most cut marks and any other blemishes. Wipe well.

If your wood is really dry, give it a good drink of Homestead House hemp oil.

After a day or two, rub in Homestead House salad bowl finish for a super smooth finish. That is all it takes to rehydrate and reseal your wooden cutting board ready for more kitchen duty.
