Vintage High Chair in Natural Wood and Warm White

I love giving old pieces new life. This vintage wooden high chair was my latest makeover project. I am loving the end look, how about you? This solid wood cutie was found by my furniture scouting sister. I messaged the seller sight unseen I would take it. My Mom picked it up and delivered to my door. THANKS family for all your help!

The Fab Furniture Flippin' Contest™ for May ~ Bling Bling

*Disclosure
I have received product in exchange for this post, but ALL the opinions are entirely MY own.  This post contains sponsored links for Country Chic Paint

The theme for May's The Fab Furniture Flippin' Contest™ Contest is "Bling Bling" sponsored by Country Chic Paint! What might Country Chic carry that created this theme you ask? well their line of metallic cremes is the answer. They have 4 great colors, for my project I chose silver bullet and belt buckle.

My furniture piece was a 4 drawer dresser ~ 2 of which are sweetly curved. That and the original hardware made me think BLING.. and original finish was edged in gold ;)
Like all my pieces they get a good sanding, a super scrub down and all repairs made before painting.

I chose a simple crisp white as my base for the bling process giving it 3 coats for coverage. Then the fun began.. the original brass feet were cleaned with brass polish and softly sanded. They do not remove easily so I hand painted with a small artist brush to get in the small areas.
the hardware got updated to a fresh coat of gold
then I added a coat of belt buckle metallic paint for increased durability and a wee bit of dimension

left is silver over the white and below is belt buckle, just a bit to dark I think so silver bullet it is
the legs and drawer fronts all received a coat of the metallic crème. I applied in long even sweeps with a soft lint free cloth , move fast as it dries quick but leaves a super smooth durable finish ;)
once the hardware was back on and the drawers set in I left to dry then hauled in to stage

this is such sweet original hardware now refreshed into a classic gold

the subtle silver shimmer and classic gold accents give this piece a perfect amount of Bling Bling!!
