Vintage Art Deco China Cabinet Restore

This Art Deco waterfall china cabinet, circa 1940, had seen better days. Tucked away in a shop and used as a storage shelf, it was in rough shape. A family member, inspired by a photo featuring rich navy tones and warm wood, wanted to see it brought back to life. With that vision in mind, I gave the piece the repairs and makeover it deserved — blending classic navy with warm wood to honor both its history and a fresh new style.

Liberty Blue Mens Valet

Another solid wood mens valet has been made over giving it new life and personality.

The color I chose for this mens valet organizer I chose Fusion Mineral Paint's liberty blue. I just used it on this adorable MCM record cabinet. It is a rich deep blue that will pop with the silver hardware.

To paint it I took it all apart, cleaned the wood surfaces well, polished the hardware and applied 2 coats of liberty blue. Once dry it was all sanded smooth with distressing on the edges.

This vintage MCM style is universally appealing and the perfect way to get your fellow organized. Check out other valets I have reloved in grey, black and navy and just recently chocolate.

Everything can be corralled in one place at the end of the day, rings, watches, glasses, cell phone, wallet, change or whatever  might be needing a spot to rest till needed again.
