One-of-a-Kind Ornate Vintage Dresser in Classic Black & Gold

This stunning vintage dresser features beautifully ornate, raised detailing that adds elegance and charm to any space. The classic black finish enhances its timeless appeal, while the wood veneer construction offers both beauty and function. Measuring 70"L x 18.75"D x 31"H, it includes nine roomy drawers for ample storage. The original hardware has been refreshed in a modern gold tone but can be changed to black at the buyer’s request. A truly unique piece that combines vintage character with functional design.

Soft Neutral Shades Media Cabinet

Fresh Start for a Veneer Classic

This manufactured media cabinet—with its once orange-tinged wood veneer—has been completely refreshed in a soft, neutral taupe called French Villa. Inside the glass-front doors, the adjustable shelf pops in Truffle, a beautifully rich and earthy shade from a newly released palette. The warm, complementary colors work together to give this piece a stylish, modern update and a brand new lease on life.

The veneer finish was wiped clean inside and out then scuff sanded for better paint adhesion using a Gator fine/med sanding block. Then the piece was wiped again with damp rag to remove sanding dust.

I chose these newly released Dixie Belle silk mineral paint Countryside Collection colors called french villa for the outside and truffle for the inside.

This is the french villa silk mineral paint first coat with a touch up on the lower edge which shows the dried and wet versions of this lovely neutral color. I like to used the angled 2" mini synthetic brush to apply my silk paint.

These handy paint pyramids make painting low profile edges pieces with ease.

The first coat going on. This paint has a built in primer and top coat and as you can see a very good coverage even after just one coat.

On the inside where I am panting the truffle  silk mineral paint I like to use a stiff thin cardboard paper to push into the crack and move as I paint to save on taping the edges and still keep a nice crisp edge.

This is my favorite 2" angled synthetic brush.

These 2 new country side collection colors look so lovely together.

When each coat of paint is dry I like to use a 220 grit sanding sponge to softly sand the paint surface to keep the finish buttery smooth.

Both colors had a second coat applied and again a light sanding. This all in one paint is a fabulous paint to use for virtually any project.

It is always easier to take photos of cabinets without the glass in. Once I had some staged photos I cleaned the glass well (L) and reinstalled the glass in the doors with their rubber guides.
