Modernized Pine Dresser in Gray

If you're a fan of clear coat pine, this makeover might not be your cup of tea. But for those who love breathing new life into old furniture, I hope this tutorial sparks some inspiration! The original clear pine finish has aged over the years, and the tall dresser has endured its fair share of wear and tear. With a little care, attention, and a fresh new color, it now serves a new purpose with renewed charm.

Vintage Window milk painted

Isn't this a neat sized vintage window? It even has the glass intact

Like most, they are stored in some old building collecting dirt and grime but a good scrub with TSP, soap and water get them clean again.

All dry and ready for paint, I chose milk paint as raw wood is perfect sub straight to use on and it is fitting for the era.

In honor of upcoming spring I went with Homestead House Milk Paint in upper Canada green.

I also used it on this antique table too

I applied 2 coats on the "front" side, sanded it smooth and added Homestead House espresso furniture wax to age it further

On the back side I did the same thing with Homestead House Milk Paint in Quaker blue

This gives the piece flexibility. I love these windows for dry erase boards, as shown above, photo frames or just pretty home decor additions. Watch how easy  using as dry erase is below.
