Another White Bread Box, this one Farmhouse Style


Did you see my recent Rae Dunn inspired bread box I posted?


It was so popular when posted another customer ordered another wood bread box I had in stock to paint. She wanted it almost the same as the original but a bit more farmhouse styled.


Only 2 coats of  Fusion Mineral Paint's picket fence went on this one for a lighter coverage then hand painted BREAD in skinny font with a black oil paint marker just like the previous one.


This one however was lightly distressed on the edges for a more rustic look.





Here are the two versions side by side. There are just slight differences in the actual wood bread box but you can see how 2 and 3 coats of picket fence looks on each.


The hand painted BREAD is a wee bit different as well ;)

    Like both colors of the boxes. Looks fresh and clean however I prefer the work bread on one board and not with a split. That color woould look great with any color scheme.

    Do you mean the break in the word bread where the bread box has a channel? I did connect the lines thru the channel on the first one and it looks odd as gave a optical illusion on crooked so repainted over ;)

    I love the color and styles of these bread boxes. People like me always search bread boxes for kitchen counter that fits well with the space and with the pictures it is really helpful and easy for me to know. Very aesthetic designs I must say.
