Modernized Pine Dresser in Gray

If you're a fan of clear coat pine, this makeover might not be your cup of tea. But for those who love breathing new life into old furniture, I hope this tutorial sparks some inspiration! The original clear pine finish has aged over the years, and the tall dresser has endured its fair share of wear and tear. With a little care, attention, and a fresh new color, it now serves a new purpose with renewed charm.

Register Vents & Wall Plates Change Up with Spray Paint

I have been sharing items in my youngest daughters new condo that we have updated with spray paint. We updated her brassy bedroom light fixturessmooth brassy door knobs, door stops (shown in other blog posts), vanity fixture and towel bar all done with Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze spray paint and a brass dining light in classic black.

The floor registers and wall plates were yellowing and needed an update as well. For these we chose a simple white Rustoleum spray paint. Quick color is made by Rustoleum and is the economy brand.

It worked perfect to update these plastic pieces. After a good scrubbing and left to dry, many thin coats sprayed in a well ventilated area were applied. Just looks at the change!
