DIY Furniture Flip: Refinished Solid Maple Dresser in Classic White

Originally a tired chest of drawers, this sturdy maple beauty got a full makeover — from sanding and priming to a crisp classic white finish and new stainless steel bar and knob hardware . My daughter found this solid brass beauty at the Restore store. It was what she wanted to replace the existing light fixture at her new condo. She did however want it matte black.

To make her wish come true, we taped off all the glass using painters tape then sprayed on many thin light coats using Rustoleum 2X ultra cover spray paint in matte black. Hanging it to spray paint allows you to get inside outside and all sides.
