Vintage Art Deco China Cabinet Restore

This Art Deco waterfall china cabinet, circa 1940, had seen better days. Tucked away in a shop and used as a storage shelf, it was in rough shape. A family member, inspired by a photo featuring rich navy tones and warm wood, wanted to see it brought back to life. With that vision in mind, I gave the piece the repairs and makeover it deserved — blending classic navy with warm wood to honor both its history and a fresh new style.

Spray Painted Bedroom Light Fixtures

Another home fixture update with spray paint!!

My daughter was not a fan of the brassy gold bedroom light fixtures.

But by using Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze spray paint they were updated to match her recently painted door knobs, door stops (shown below), vanity fixture, towel bar and all with the same can. How amazingly affordable is that? Not to mention environmentally amazing!

Check out an updated brass dining light in classic black too.

Following the same directions as the door knob update, these light fixtures now have a new light on life ;)

Look at the difference now, so much better right?
