Vintage High Chair in Natural Wood and Warm White

I love giving old pieces new life. This vintage wooden high chair was my latest makeover project. I am loving the end look, how about you? This solid wood cutie was found by my furniture scouting sister. I messaged the seller sight unseen I would take it. My Mom picked it up and delivered to my door. THANKS family for all your help!

IKEA Farmhouse White Table

This IKEA table has been updated in a fresh farmhouse white style to become a minimalist computer station.

Before it was your typical orange tinged stained boring table but it was the perfect size a customer wanted for her computer station.

First step, scrub table clean with Simple Green cleaner.

and she wanted it white; hello Jolie Paint's  palace white.

It was also used on these latest projects.

The first coat shows the potential this table now has.

Hold up, after the first coat dried ink spots bled thru. Zinsser Bull’s Eye spray shellac can stop that. Spray a couple coats.

To add dimension to the solid white, Jolie Paint 's french grey was randomly brushed on using a  2” chip brush.

Another coat of palace white was brushed over using my  spray mister to blend well.

Brush and blend

Everything was then sanded smooth with a sanding sponge as well as distressing the edges to keep the farmhouse feel.

To seal it all up, using Jolie's fabulous wax brush I applied their clear wax.

It gives a beautiful finish to this table. Three coats were waxed on after each one dried well to add durability to the top and get the perfect sheen.
