Classic Black Antique China Cabinet

Does anyone have china dishes anymore? Is it still a thing? Years ago, when I got married, it was all about picking your china pattern and creating a gift registry for the pieces you needed. My pattern was called Chelsea by Royal Doulton, and it was a soft muted floral.

Metal Garden Angel Makeover

My metal garden stake angels needed a makeover badly after years of use. Luckily I have allot of products on hand to do just that. The end result was a bright new whimsical look.

First I taped off the face. I spray painted a made for metal base coat on the angel bodies in bright blue.

Daffodil Dixie Belle Terra Clay Paint was painted on the flowers with malachite Terra Clay Paint in the center.

Sun kissed Dixie Belle silk mineral paint was painted on the faces/hands and umber silk mineral paint for the hair.

Dixie Belle Gilding Wax in gold was rubbed on the halos, around the cut out stars on the dresses and along the dress hem.

I used a sharpie to draw on the eyes and noses.

Then to seal it all on, a couple coats of Dixie Belle Gator Hide were brushed on.

These angels are now ready to be on display again in my garden.
