Vintage Art Deco China Cabinet Restore

This Art Deco waterfall china cabinet, circa 1940, had seen better days. Tucked away in a shop and used as a storage shelf, it was in rough shape. A family member, inspired by a photo featuring rich navy tones and warm wood, wanted to see it brought back to life. With that vision in mind, I gave the piece the repairs and makeover it deserved — blending classic navy with warm wood to honor both its history and a fresh new style.

Ombre Jumbo Pepper Grinder ~ navy to grey

WOW this is the tallest wooden pepper grinder I have ever seen. It measures over 16" high!

I painted it in an ombre look using Fusion Mineral Paint in midnight blue for the bottom portion and little lamb for the top. Both colors were applied in 2 coats with them mixed together for the middle color and blended into top and bottom.

To give it a bit more sheen I wiped on Fusion's Hemp Oil with a cloth and buffed.

It makes a real statement on the dining table or on the counter
