Vintage Art Deco China Cabinet Restore

This Art Deco waterfall china cabinet, circa 1940, had seen better days. Tucked away in a shop and used as a storage shelf, it was in rough shape. A family member, inspired by a photo featuring rich navy tones and warm wood, wanted to see it brought back to life. With that vision in mind, I gave the piece the repairs and makeover it deserved — blending classic navy with warm wood to honor both its history and a fresh new style.

Metal Flower Garden Stake in Aubergine

Did you see my post on spray painting a metal garden stake a fun turquoise? Here is round #2

I purchased another flower shape for my garden

Seeing I had this gorgeous aubergine color  chalked paint from Rustoleum  that I was using on this Mid Century Styled Nightstand, I decided to try it on the metal flower.

Using their round brush it went on very easily and adhered well to the metal

I left it to dry in the shade

To add some fun, I painted the center using Country Chic paint in creme brule with a brush as well

To seal the paint I chose Rustoleum ultra cover matte spray clear coat

It deepened the gorgeous purple color perfectly
