Vintage Art Deco China Cabinet Restore

This Art Deco waterfall china cabinet, circa 1940, had seen better days. Tucked away in a shop and used as a storage shelf, it was in rough shape. A family member, inspired by a photo featuring rich navy tones and warm wood, wanted to see it brought back to life. With that vision in mind, I gave the piece the repairs and makeover it deserved — blending classic navy with warm wood to honor both its history and a fresh new style.

Sterling Grey Coffee Mug Tree

Let's update this wooden coffee mug tree. The solid wood 6 prong cup storage is in need of some color. A soft grey with a bit of ageing was the perfect solution. Here is how it was done.

Step 1, scrub well with warm soapy water and some Fusion TSP Alternative to be sure past grease and grime is gone.

Two coats of Fusion Mineral Paint in the color sterling; a cool based light grey was brushed on.

Then Fusion Furniture Wax; ageing wax was added to give an aged look for a farmhouse feel.
