Vintage Art Deco China Cabinet Restore

This Art Deco waterfall china cabinet, circa 1940, had seen better days. Tucked away in a shop and used as a storage shelf, it was in rough shape. A family member, inspired by a photo featuring rich navy tones and warm wood, wanted to see it brought back to life. With that vision in mind, I gave the piece the repairs and makeover it deserved — blending classic navy with warm wood to honor both its history and a fresh new style.

Latest Salt & Pepper sets

I LOVE painted wooden salt and pepper sets, they are the perfect way to add a bit of color and personality to a kitchen or dining room.

Every set is totally unique, there is never the same set or the same color.

As always the first step is a deep scrub with Simple Green cleaner to be sure all surfaces are clean and ready to update.

For these 2 sets, my favorite  Fusion Mineral Paint in renfrew blue and bayberry were the colors chosen. Fusion has a built in top coat which is perfect for these sets adding durability in one step.

Two coats of each color were hand painted on and once dry,  Fusion Mineral Paint's ageing wax was added for additional detailing and dimension.
