Vintage Art Deco China Cabinet Restore

This Art Deco waterfall china cabinet, circa 1940, had seen better days. Tucked away in a shop and used as a storage shelf, it was in rough shape. A family member, inspired by a photo featuring rich navy tones and warm wood, wanted to see it brought back to life. With that vision in mind, I gave the piece the repairs and makeover it deserved — blending classic navy with warm wood to honor both its history and a fresh new style.

Farmhouse pine shelf

Do you have one of these solid pine country shelves that were soooo popular in the 90's?
Was it painted back then or left bare wood? Bring it up to 2020 Farmhouse style with a fresh coat of white paint.

Fusion Mineral Paint in Champlain was the color of choice for this cutie. This beautiful farmhouse white was going on many things in the workshop like this Rae Dunn inspired bread box, sweet curio cabinet, and this wood kitchen collection.

Two coats of paint then once dry the edges were sponge sander distressed to keep the rustic farmhouse country feel in a bright new color.
