Classic Black Antique China Cabinet

Does anyone have china dishes anymore? Is it still a thing? Years ago, when I got married, it was all about picking your china pattern and creating a gift registry for the pieces you needed. My pattern was called Chelsea by Royal Doulton, and it was a soft muted floral.

South Western Frame gets a Coastal Update

I have been on a second makeover roll lately, this versatile chicken wire solid wood frame was given a beachy update after the south western boho vibe was just not selling.

Do you remember this bold southwestern set I did awhile back? The pepper grinder sold soon after posting but the frame has sat. I decided it was time to change it up from the south westerns plains to a coastal beach vibe.

Paint makes it easy to change up especially the new Dixie Belle silk paint which is a one step paint with built in top coat and primer.

I chose serenity which looked like a soft green color in the jar. I started painting the backside first.

Then flipped over to do the front side. The color dries to a soft beachy blue; surprise! Two coats were brushed on in total allowing a couple hours between coats.

Well then lets add Dixie Belle's best dang wax in white to add more beachy drama. This gives the frame a whole new look and just a few easy steps.
