Vintage Art Deco China Cabinet Restore

This Art Deco waterfall china cabinet, circa 1940, had seen better days. Tucked away in a shop and used as a storage shelf, it was in rough shape. A family member, inspired by a photo featuring rich navy tones and warm wood, wanted to see it brought back to life. With that vision in mind, I gave the piece the repairs and makeover it deserved — blending classic navy with warm wood to honor both its history and a fresh new style.

Farmhouse White Curio Cabinet

This little wooden curio cabinet has been farmhouse styled!!

Here is the before shots of this cutie

It was painted Fusion Mineral Paint in Champlain.

Two coats were applied after a good cleaning and the glass removed. All the edges were lightly distressed to reveal the original dark stain followed by Fusion Mineral Paint's ageing wax.

I was working on more projects in this wonderful warm white color. Here are all the Champlain pieces together.

Once dry, the glass was put back in, the mirror cleaned well and the shelves set in place.

The ornate top can be removed as well for a different look
