Classic Black Antique China Cabinet

Does anyone have china dishes anymore? Is it still a thing? Years ago, when I got married, it was all about picking your china pattern and creating a gift registry for the pieces you needed. My pattern was called Chelsea by Royal Doulton, and it was a soft muted floral.

Beach Vibe Vases

Two more one of a kind vases completed in my winter painting series. If you missed it I did 3 in the same paint color but a copper patina finish. I also created faux cement vases and plant pot too.

The vases were cleaned well with warm soapy water with some Dixie Belle white lightening cleaner, rinsed well and left to dry.

The first step was the same as what I did on the patina vasesDixie Belle Paint in pure ocean mixed with water and a sea spray sprayed on the vases.

It is a sea glass attempt that did not work as planned LOL
I sprayed another coat this time with Dixie Belle Paint mermaid tail and cotton added then dabbed the mixture on like the other vases.
Then I decided to dry them with a white drippy technique.

My technique video using Dixie Belle Paint cotton and a Fine Mist Spray Bottle.

Here is the first coat of cotton added.

I did a second application of Dixie Belle Paint in cotton using the misting drippy technique.
They were then sealed with Dixie Belle clear coat in flat finish, two coats.

But it needed more dimension;  Dixie Belle Gilding Wax in silver and zinc were applied using my finger. Perfect!
