Vintage High Chair in Natural Wood and Warm White

I love giving old pieces new life. This vintage wooden high chair was my latest makeover project. I am loving the end look, how about you? This solid wood cutie was found by my furniture scouting sister. I messaged the seller sight unseen I would take it. My Mom picked it up and delivered to my door. THANKS family for all your help!

Wooden Basket Makeover

Wood and wire basket gets a farmhouse update, let's see how!

I sourced this forlorn dirty solid wood basket at a local thrift store.

After a good scrub to clean it all up, it was sanded smooth ready to paint.

I chose to dry brush one of Fusion Mineral Paints's newest paint colors called Goddess Ashwagandha over every side including the bottom for a worn rustic farmhouse feel.

Even though it was only a small tester size, I painted this silverware chest as well and still have some left for another small project. Isn't this Fusion tester package lovely? I have tried the soft sacred sage green on this jewelry box and plan to try the purples soon.

Wanting to add a stencil but not wanting to commit to just one item that could be in the basket such as coffee I stenciled on this pretty shape using Rustoleum's black chalkboard paint.

This allows for and words, quote or design to be drawn on and wiped off easily.

To add to the aged worn paint look I added black wax and this cute basket is complete.
